Mansa, 31 January 2023 : Today, due to the efforts of Punjab State Legal Services Authority, Mohali at District Court, Mansa, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sh. Ravi Shankar Jha, Chief Justice, Punjab & Haryana High Court inaugurated office of Legal Aid Defense Counsel System through Video Conferencing wherein lawyers for various posts under LADC scheme at ADR Center Mansa will defend the case of Criminal nature.
After the introduction of this system, District and Sessions Judge, Mansa Ms. Navjot Kaur in a conversation said that as Legal Aid Defense Counsel at District Mansa Sh. Gurpiar Singh and Sh. Deepinder Singh and 3 Legal Assistants Ms. Radhika Khosla, Sh. Sinkder Singh, Sh. Rajvir Singh are appointed as Additional Defense Counsels. With the introduction of this system, people will have more confidence in the Legal Service Authority. Speaking on the occasion, District and Sessions Judge, Mansa Ms. Navjot Kaur said that we hope that this system will prove a new milestone in the Legal Aid Services Authority, Mansa in the coming days.
